A Message from the Mercer County Democratic Chairman:
JOB WELL DONE !!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all elected Democrat Candidates for your efforts, ideas, and help given to our Mercer County Democrat Committee. It has been a pleasure working with you all and getting your feed back over the past year. When I would stand and say that we have the best qualified, honest, hard working, and down right good people on our Democratic slate, I really and truly meant it. It was not just words, you all were and are the best slate of candidates Mercer County has seen in some time.
Although we still have some ballots to count I feel confident no matter the outcome you have all showed what true “public servants” should be and the County has seen your example.
For the tireless many of volunteers we had working with us I can only say, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, & THANK YOU!! Without your support we would not have been able to accomplish what we have. Thank you for not giving up when things got tough, or looked pretty dark and for not giving in when we heard it’s no different then any other election. With your help and commitment we have been able to show that things weren’t the same as every other election and won’t be from here out. We as Democrats will not put up with the status quo. We have made the first step in reclaiming the County we should have never lost to those who see our elected “public servants” as pay checks and stepping stones.
This is just the beginning, what ever happens Monday when the ballots are counted, no matter who sits in the chairs, we the Democrats of Mercer County must hold their feet to the fire and be sure that it wasn’t just talk we heard on the campaign trail but all the elected officials KEEP THEIR PROMISES.
